Indigenous Peoples Day Presentation

The 2nd Indigenous People's Day was celebrated by the City of Framingham. The event was hosted by Fuller MS on 10/10/22. The weather & amphitheatre were the perfect venue for Andre StrongBearHeart & Daishuan TallHairRedDeer to kick off the celebration of this National holiday.
Andre spoke to students, faculty, & community regarding Nipmuc culture, history, & current issues faced in the Indigenous community. Andre & Daishuan TallHairRedDeer also encouraged attendees to participate in the traditional stomp dance fostering a sense of fun and unity during the day's event. There was 100% participation!
The smiles seen on the attendees' faces was a clear indication that everyone was having fun and enjoyed the celebration.
